Miles 'Hate Speech' Chapman and the quandary of distasteful, substandard or offensive comedy

Welcome to the Stupid Hearts Club! The Club for everyone with a Stupid Heart

-------------------

Hello lovely sods

For the first time since Stupid Hearts Club went free I am talking to regular guest and fellow silly sod, comedy man and star of 'Lee and Dean', Miles Chapman.

Full disclosure for newbies, in the course of our friendship, Miles and I have weekly horrible nicknames for each other and this week I decided to call him 'Hate Speech', this ended up being foreshadowing as we ended up discussing how to deal with the spectre of comedy you find distasteful, substandard or offensive. Something that has a different weight to it when you work in 'the industry'. Hope you find it an interesting chat.

Some of the audio in this episode might be a bit erratic (and there is even a jumpscare quite early on) and you should all know that that is 100% Miles's fault. At least he can cook.

Enjoy

Ma'am

Including Nico who is now pluckily trying to find new ways to stay afloat, inspired and frankly alive. Follow his brutally honest accounts of his sometimes bleak, sometimes joyous and often hilarious adventures, usually in Linda the camper van- As he keeps us updated on his mission to find himself and some bloody work once more.
