Welcome to the Stupid Hearts Club! The Club for everyone with a Stupid Heart

Cowabunga Dudes! (not just men, it doesn't mean that!)

This weeks episode is a beauty, as I talk and chuckle with telly/film director-extraordinaire Jim Field Smith, whilst sipping on session ale by the river next to Kew bridge.

I've know Jim for 20 years and have watched both proudly and bitterly as his career has steadily climbed all the way up to the point where any writer could be forgiven for getting what we in the trade might call 'major boxset envy'.

Here we discuss surviving in the telly biz, some of Jim's finest work from shooting a sketch up an alley-way with me to directing actual airplanes in the sky whilst directing Apple TV mega-drama 'Hijack'. There is also a LOT of fun making analogies out of bad grammar and deep sea fish.

So, fasten your seatbelts and press that button that reclines your seat and ruins the person behind you's day....
